Textiles should be labelled in line with the most straightforward principle
Labels and designations must be easy to read and attached such that they are easy to access.

Labels on textile products are designed to provide consumers with information when they purchase and use the respective item as well as textile cleaning establishments when they professionally clean the respective textile. They must therefore be easy to find and should always be securely attached to the respective textile product.
In principle, it would be convenient to establish just one location for each textile product. However, when taking into account the type of production, the material and fashion influences, alternative locations are necessary for certain clothing items in particular cases.
When producing textile care labels, it is advisable to use materials and sewing threads that will not impact on or decrease the wear comfort of the item as consumers will otherwise cut the label from the item.
