European harmonisation
A common platform for consumers and manufacturers.

Das Projekt hatte die Harmonisierung der Informationen betreffend der Pflegekennzeichnung in Europa zum Ziel.
The objective of the project was to harmonise information regarding care labels in Europe.
As part of this two-year project, training tools as well as a common platform were created with both elements unifying and fostering technical and practical expertise. The purpose was to also promote the flow of information between manufacturers, consumers as well as educational facilities and teachers. This formed a foundation that can be further developed as needed and adjusted in the event of changes.
Switzerland’s project partners included France, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Greece, Spain (which left the project early due to bankruptcy) and Portugal.
A great amount was achieved throughout the project. The concept and design specified by Switzerland was accepted and adopted by all of the partners.
